Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) has selected the women that it feels deserves especial recognition this year for the part they have played in making the beauty business the success it is today. The CEW Achievers Award Winners and Members’ Achievers Finalists will be applauded at the organisation’s Annual Achievers Awards ceremony to be held on Monday, October 11 at The Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel in Cadogan Place, Knightsbridge.

This year’s Lifetime Achiever Award goes to a woman who represents the absolute elite in the beauty industry. Andrea Jung is head of the world’s biggest direct sales business, Avon, and the longest serving female CEO of any Fortune 500 company. As Avon approaches its 125th anniversary next year, the company remains as committed as ever to empowering women worldwide.

The 2010 Achievers are: Angela Rowley, General Manager of Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty, UK and Ireland; Kate Shapland, renowned Beauty Editor of the Telegraph Media Group; Michelle Feeney, CEO of St. Tropez; Sian Sutherland, Founding Partner and Chief Executive of Mama Mio.

The Members Achiever Award Finalists - nominated by the members of CEW and shortlisted by the Board - are Tracy Van Heusden, Senior Beauty Buyer, House of Fraser (pictured); Clare and Rebecca Hopkins, Co-Founders and Directors, Balance Me; Annalise Quest - General Merchandise Manager, Beauty, Harrods; Lena White, Managing Director, Lena White. The winner will be revealed on the night.
