COPRA Ball 2011

Click this picture to see all the pictures from the 2011 COPRA Ball. Over 700 guests, a record number for the event, attended this year’s COPRA Ball (Cosmetic & Perfumery Retailers Association) held on Monday November 7 2011 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in central London. Many believe that the Ball offers the best networking opportunity available in the industry and so guests always arrive promptly to mingle with friends and colleagues for the generous champagne reception which commences the evening’s celebrations. In her welcoming Tracy van Heusden, Chairman of COPRA, announced that QVC and Ulster Stores de Gruchy were the latest retailers to join the organisation She also paid tribute to the career to Per Neuman, who is retires in December (2011) after 23 years as UK Managing Director of The Estée Lauder Companies. It has been announced earlier in the evening that Tracy had accepted the invitation to remain Chairman for another year. The COPRA Ball raises money for the industry’s cancer charity Look Good...Feel Better and many superb auction and raffle prizes were on offer. Photographs by Matt Wreford.
