Updated 3 September: The official opening reception for The Perfume Diaries exhibition at Harrods (September 2 - October 2) took place last night. It is a stunning event, everyone in the industry should visit. ** Korres Natural Products, distributed in the UK by Fragrance And Beauty (FAB), held a series of press briefings in London yesterday (Thursday, September 2) to introduce a product line extension to its recently launched anti-ageing Quercetin and Oak range. Journalists at the briefings, which were held throughout the day, were also told about a recently concluded distribution deal with Johnson & Johnson which comes into effect in March 2011 and which will see the multinational responsible for sales of the Greek brand throughout the United States. Korres, however, will retain control of the research and development of the brand. Other regional distribution deals, such as the one covering the UK, will not be affected by the new arrangement. **Nicola Tompkins, formerly owner of Beauty Counsel, a brand development consultancy, and previously a beauty buyer at Selfridges, has been appointed Country Manager of Aesop, the Australian skin, hair and body brand. Aesop has an established global export market. The brand has three stores in London and is also stocked in Liberty’s.** Members can click below to view all recent Hot Gossips. More on Monday...
